Big Fast Shifts in the Ecology of New Mexico Have Begun Due to Climate Change |
Teens from Albuquerque, Española, Los Alamos, Pojoaque and Santa Fe will be gathering on March 9th to learn about and discuss the latest research on climate change. You may explore questions such as:
- What will happen if all the sea ice melts?
- How might warming change the vegetation in New Mexico?
- Why should I care if the ocean or land warms by 1-2 degrees?
Essential Information
The program is free and we will provide food, drinks and door prizes to attendees. If you need a ride, we will have buses to bring teens from Albuquerque, Española, Pojoaque and Los Alamos. We expect as many as 150 teens from these towns at the CafĂ© discussion.
Please help us plan for the meeting by registering at the link below and indicating if you will need a ride. You can attend even if you do not register, but help us out by doing so.

You must bring a signed permission slip to board the bus. Download the permission slip for your town from below.
Bus departure times and locations are lilisted below. Please be on time so we can arrive at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center by 2PM.
